Covid has changed our way of working, Keeping both our clients and staff safe, our appointments are made longer now in order for us to deep clean every hairdressing booth, as its being used.
As a salon our hygiene is at its highest, we have always sterilised our brushes and scissors after each client and have always washed our gowns and towels after each use. Covid hasn’t changed that way in which we work, however we are working in line with the government and will do so until further notice.
If you have any concerns over our covid guidence, please don’t hesitate to call us and we will be happy to answer any of your concerns.
Thehairdresser@bs3 opened its doors in October 2013, located in the heart of North Street, Bedminster, Bristol. Paula and Zoe have built their salon to be a family friendly environment and that their clients can relax and be assured that they are in safe hands. With over 35 years of hairdressing experience they pride their selves in providing great hair and a professional service tailored for all individual needs. Proudly using the professional salon products of Schwarzkopf, GHD and Olaplex.
The salon is about good hair, providing services such as consultations, cut and finish, colouring and much more. Sharing their expert advice on the hair and scalp making sure that you the client and the stylist are both on the same understanding before they start your hair.
Their returning clients come back not only for the fantastic haircut and colour they receive, but for the friendly atmosphere and great service within the salon.

A consultation and patch test is required for every new client 48 hours prior to colour service. For regular clients a patch test is needed if changing their shade of colour or their last appointment is longer than 8 weeks. We DO NOT carry out any colour services for children under the age of 16.
Due to the extent of time of a colour service a deposit will be required at the time of booking, this will be taken off your bill on the day. Some colour services may require more colour due to the length or thickness of the hair, this will be an added cost.
Home products from shampoos, conditioners and treatments to suit all hair and scalp types. Not only do these products do what they say, they are an affordable home care range that you can rely on.
We are excited to be stocking the Olaplex homecare range. These products are for all hair types. They are sulfate free, paraben free, phthalate free, colour safe, VEGAN and never tested on animals!
Hair Perfector: Visibly strengthens the hair and reduces breackage.
Shampoo: By re linking the bonds this shampoo is great for split ends and frizz and by protecting and repairing damaged hair.
Conditioner: This is a colour safe product. For best results this product must be used with the Olaplex shampoo, giving the hair strength and hydration.
Bond smoother: A styling cream that eliminates frizz for up to 72 hours and reduces blowdrying time.
Bonding Oil: Protects the hair up to 230* heat whilst controlling flyaway and frizz.
We stock a wide range of heat protection styling products for all hair needs.
We cannot accept bookings online. All appointment bookings must be made over the telephone.
Due to high demand of appointments, we would request that you give us 48 hours notice should you need to cancel. Failing to to do this will result to a loss of any deposit paid.
